My Eagle Scout project, capping six years in Boy Scouts. I directed 60+ volunteers and 250+ hours to paint 80+ fire hydrants in my hometown, working around COVID restrictions the whole way.
As the culmination of my Boy Scout journey, I directed a community service project to paint over 80 fire hydrants in my hometown, coordinating more than 60 volunteers and 250+ man-hours. The project required managing a budget, communicating with local government stakeholders, and adapting plans around COVID-19 restrictions. It taught me lasting lessons in leadership, project management, and community engagement.
