My Eagle Scout project, at the end of six years in Boy Scouts. I directed 60+ volunteers and 250+ hours of work to paint 80+ fire hydrants in my hometown. We worked around COVID-19 restrictions throughout the project.
This project was the final step of my Boy Scout journey. I directed a community service project to paint more than eighty fire hydrants in my hometown. I coordinated more than sixty volunteers and more than 250 volunteer hours. The project required a budget, and I managed it. I communicated with local government officials. I adapted the plan around COVID-19 restrictions. This project taught me lasting lessons in leadership, project management, and community work.
