With Engineers Without Borders (Sept 2023 to Dec 2024), I used AutoCAD and Google Earth to design layouts for two gravity-fed water systems serving rural communities. The work was equal parts civil and environmental engineering: I turned terrain and survey data into layouts that crews could actually build in the field.
