A two-stage solid rocket sized to carry a 2.5 kg payload to 7.5 km, backed by a Python flight dynamics simulation.
I designed a two-stage solid rocket to deliver a 2.5 kg payload to 7.5 km. The work covered motor selection, grain geometry, and an altitude-compensated nozzle, all modeled in OpenRocket. To check the design, I built a 2D flight dynamics simulation in Python that evaluated 44,100 configurations. I validated the final performance with trade studies and structural analysis.
